Hyperopia
Hyperopic eye is over focusing to sustain clarity, when you are younger it can compensate and adjust focus, as we get older it cannot adjust,onsequently vision slowly drifts out of focus.
What Is Hyperopia?
It is found in patients when the shape of the eye prevents the light from focusing on the retina. This is usually a reflection of the shape of the eye. The eye is usually axially shorter, or the cornea is flatter or the lens inside the eye may be mal positioned. In some cases elevation of the retina may be contributing to reducing axial length.
Symptoms Of Hyperopia
They vary somewhat dependant on your age group, problems adjusting focus, blurry vision, at both distance and near,through to eye strain and headaches. Headaches are typically in the temples and frontal part of the head.
